Members AGM Information

Dear Members,

Below is information on the AGM

we hope to see you there.

Please be advised that the Annual General Meeting (AGM) of North Queensland Wildlife Care Incorporated is scheduled as follows:

When: Sunday 23 October 2022
Time: 10.00 am – 12.00 pm
Where: Wildlife Centre, 25 Aitken St, Aitkenvale 4814

If you are unable to attend the AGM, you are welcome to appoint a proxy, i.e. another financial member who can vote on your behalf. To nominate a proxy, please complete the Proxy Nomination Form 2022 (no other form will be accepted) and ensure that it is given to the Secretary before the start of the AGM.

Elections for positions on the Management Committee will be held at the AGM. Nominations for these positions are now open and will close at 5.00 pm on Sunday 9 October 2022.

If you wish to nominate for a position, please read the role descriptions carefully to ensure you are fully aware of the commitment required as a Committee member. Feel free to also contact current committee members to find out more.

If you wish to nominate or nominate someone for a Management Committee position, you must complete the Nomination Form – Committee Position 2022 (no other form will be accepted) and email it to secretary@nqwildlife.org.au) by Sunday 9 October 2022.

Please note that after the AGM, members will be invited by the new Committee to apply for additional species coordinators and for the non-management committee roles listed on page 5 of the document Duties and Responsibilities of Office Bearers.
